The most colourful character in World darts can be seen at this year's PDC World Darts Championship. First round or final: Peter Wright always makes his entrance meaningful.
In this gallery, eight remarkable outfits from the former World Champion.
1
As reigning world champion, Wright surprised not only the (small number present) audience at the 2021 World Darts Championships, but also his opponent Steve West by appearing as the film character The Grinch. Even his beard was - completely in theme - dyed green.
2
Ho, ho, ho! 'Santa Claus' Peter Wright took to the oche.
3
Talking about bad Christmas jumpers. Wright has them too.
4
Sometimes the Scotsman's hair is the highlight of his outfit. With a hairstyle in all the colours of the rainbow, he beat Price to reach the finals of the World Championship in 2020.
5
With a Christmas village, snow, Father Christmas and his reindeer, Wright defeated Japan's Seigo Asada at the 2020 World Championship.
6
In classic Christmas colours, Wright escaped in a duel against Noel Malicdem. Coincidentally, the latter's first name means the word 'Christmas' in French.
7
Paint splotches on Wright's shirt! The Scot began his 2014 World Cup campaign full of colour.
8
Even Wright's wacky coloured effort in 2014 couldn't bring him towards the title.
