As well as the PDC Autumn Series, it was announced on Tuesday that the PDC Women's Series would make its debut in October.

Two places in the 2020/21 PDC World Championship will be on offer based on prize money won across the four events; which will be held on October 17-18 in Cannock.
It is the PDC’s first foray back into a tour for Women’s Darts; after the success of Fallon Sherrock; with her ground-breaking run at the PDC World Championship dubbing her The Queen of the Palace. There will also be a Grand Slam of Darts qualifier; which will be free to enter.
PDC Chief Executive Matthew Porter spoke on the announcement saying it is one which is 'important'; during a time when women's sport is being diminished during Coronavirus:
"Women's darts at the top level has never enjoyed as high a profile and this is an important development."
"This year has seen sport worldwide affected by the coronavirus pandemic; it is hugely encouraging at a time when other sports are seeing opportunities for women reduced that we are able to bring in the PDC Women's Series; and create a place in the 2020 Grand Slam of Darts.
"We are also retaining two places in the William Hill World Darts Championship for female players; giving them the opportunity to take part in our sport's biggest tournament once again; after the historic achievements of Fallon Sherrock last December."
